The 13 pin euro towing plugs and sockets are designed to replace both the 12N and 12S plugs and sockets. They connect the lights on your towing vehicle to your trailer/caravan as well as providing auxiliary power.
Pin 1 (Yellow) = Left Indicator
Pin 2 (Blue) = Fog Light
Pin 3 (White) = Earth
Pin 4 (Green) = Right Indicator
Pin 5 (Brown) = Right Tail/Side Light
Pin 6 (Red) = Brake Lights
Pin 7 (Black) = Left Tail/Side Light
Pin 8 (Pink) = Reversing Light
Pin 9 (Orange) = Permanent Live
Pin 10 (Grey) = Live when ignition on
Pin 11 (White/Black) = Return for circuits connected to Pin 10
Pin 12 (White/Blue) = Spare
Pin 13 (White/Red) = Return for circuits connected to Pin 9
